Thanks John, but I think it was not available in the repos at the time I wrote. Anyways I am used to compile most of the programs from source and really hope to spread this infectious disease.

You can install Music Tracker in Ubuntu from the repositories:

apt-get install pidgin-musictracker.

hey, i’ve started working my way around with google android. using eclipse IDE for coding, and going through google’s documentation pages. as i’m already quite familiar and have had hands on experience with java, the programming part isn’t coming in too difficult, and i’m quite comfortable with the technicalities so far. i’d like to contribute to the magazine regarding the introduction to Google’s Android Platform and would also like to give a presentation in the next LUG meet. plz tell me if that is possible, i’ll make sure i’ll get in touch once i reach manipal. thx a lot.

well people we had to stop the magazine from appearing on the site right now due to a lot of articles that rushed in after the deadline(so typical of manipal) , so releasing it now with exams all around doesn’t seem to be a great idea so as soon as your paper’s are over the magazine will be released. In the meanwhile if you stumble upon a article or get time to write one just mail it in.

I opened this website for myself long time ago. Today it has become even better. I like the links and info that is given here, I just dislike some people. They make a lot of mistakes when posting or commenting. They are usually rude and have a bunch of problems I think. They spoil this website. I would want them to leave this place alone and go somewhere else to have their kind of fun.
